Shadower or Phantom ALt questions
I have a 99 Phantom and a 55 Bandit. My main is a 122 Hero right now, but I was looking for a class to fill in the gaps right now as an ALT. I dont care about The damage of the two because I know where they stand. I do enjoy my Phantom quite a bit right now and I know Im going to actually enjoy my Chief bandit once I hit 70 and up...which is easy. I am curious though, Are shadowers really really fun? Do you actually use Meso explosion or is it just Assassinate and BS/MC macro? I do enjoy some bossing but love mobbing as well... Any insight on either of the two will be appreciated. Thank you guys

I find Shadowers to be far more fun. They have a much more varied skillset, and (for bossing at least) there's actually a rotation of sorts. Alternate between MC and BS until 5 assassinate points, then use Assassinate. When you have enough coins on the floor, use ME instead of the MC and BS. Alongside that they have passive stacking poisons, high avoid rate (not quite as high as Phantom's though) and very good defense stats, both base and with MG. VERY high effective HP. With Phantoms I find that they have very niche attacks. They have an attack for each situation, but you'll rarely be using more than one attack for any given situation, be it bossing or grinding. Sure there's Impeccable Memory, but that's just either stealing a buff or another niche attack; 1v1 or mob. It doesn't change how the class functions.
Every class can be strong. Im not really looking for the best of the best. Evens irritate me because they have a dragon with them at all times. I am just looking for a really fun class. I started playing again about 2 months ago. I got a hero to 122, Phantom to 99 bandit and archer to 50s. I wanted to create a Mercedes when i started again but didnt realize they are not available anymore
Yeah, I have issues with funding anyway. I have a total of about 1 billion in equips so my funding is quite low. I just want a fun class. Mercedes look AMAZING but i cant make them right now
@Carbos Yeah, My old main before BB even was a NL. I had a 102 Hermit up until a week ago when I deleted him...lol I am curious to play Either The CK Eckhart or the Archer chick. I love ranged classes, but I love swords and daggers. Im always contemplating a new character, which irritates me. I want a good 1v1 class and a good mobbing class that I love to look at....lol
I was referring to Hero's having a single move, not Mihile. yes, I saw that Mihile was what I wanted a hero to be in the first place. I like flash jump and a variety of skill. Ranged and close up too.
Doesnt macroing BS with MC help that alittle bit though? Or is there still too much downtime when attacking ?
tbh, I liked the old shadower better, although the new animations look nice, Boomerang Stab is so damn slow, I can't stand it.
Yeah, Phantoms have so much variety and Thats what I like in Gameplay and thats what my Hero lacks....lol I was considering making MIKFAIL my mains because I really do like warriors but I hate the fact that I have basically 1 move. I like fast classes too and Phantoms are insanely fast. I really like Midnight carnival for Bandits though. that is sexy
Yeah, I really do like the phantom, I just hate how squishy he is. I love his mobbing and speed though, thats for sure. I think im gonna get my shadower to a 100 and If I enjoy my phantom more then I will stick with him. The only problem I have right now is that my Phantom is my mule for shops...lmao....
Yes shads r fun and strong if ur funded, my shad was hitting100k per line with boomstep at lvl 130. Then at lvl 137 i gave up cos I blew up too many daggers rofl. Then I created a phantom, really fun and good dmg, was hitting 40k per line with rapid fire at lvl 120, then quittes cos friend bought me the wrong item from this fm shop Lola, str % instead luk%, wasted 1b on that unique 16% str noes pants, so now I'm on my Aran with that pants.
Shadower is fun but repetitive. Phantom is different.
