So I was kind of bored, and so i made a random wallpaper to use on my computer. the original res is 1280x800 but basil made me shrink it, so.
credits for all character images, red logo and hekaton picture goes to nexon/orange mushroom's blog/spadow's blog. earth picture taken from google images and color-tinted to make it red.

as for the 3rd thing, I have a few friends who live near me that play KMS as well (i've considered doing it as well at one point, but it means i'd need to abandon my beloved dark knight that i've worked so hard on =P) im so/so on the cubes, do note though that they can also drop from bosses at a decent rate (watched my friend duo Arkarium and he got 2 in the first battle, 1 in the second) I personally think its okay if they're a little annoying to obtain, as long as they arn't breakneck impossible for even the unfunded (which from my observations, it isn't XD) most of this is really just a matter of opinion.
I agree with you though that I would rather do without Zero, he is BY FAR the most overpowered class i've ever seen, hitting 400 to 500k when you completely unfunded, NTY.

@ShadeCombo: Yeah, I got what you ment haha. Im pretty glad that you can get artisan cubes easily post-RED (NOT so much masters cubes, since you need strong blades of chaos for that) even a non-nx buyer could get a few unique items by soloing bosses like zakum, easy magnus, hillia, easy arkarium, etc whenever possible and looting their occult cubes. Artisan cubes do also drop from bosses and mobs, though its a bit rare.
@lazershock: In the sense that the game is Free-To-Play and "Pay-To-Win", stated, even if it's pay-to-shortcut it's not much of a shortcut. Considering a lot of aspects, even for both NX and Non-NX spenders, the game is luck based in almost every aspects (cubes, the free hammers, scrolls, rewards etc). That eventually leads to that someone who spends around 150k NX (in total or in one go) to cube an item, can have the same amount of luck as someone who pays a total of 20~30k NX. Do you get what I mean? As I see it, yes it is as you say, pay-to-shortcut. But considering the huge luck involvement, it basically becomes gambling. 150 dollars to cube an item worth maybe 80 dollars. That item will eventually, probably deflate, making it more than a 50 dollars loss.
Basically, it should be Free-To-Play and Pay-To-Win, with the aspect of having F2Pers the CHANCE (by "gambling" to get their items into a 'godly' state, whereas P2W players get the shortcut and "buys" the godly item by themselves. This is pretty vaguely spoken though. Hope you got what I wanted to say haha

Yeah, that I can agree on, they overhype it a bit too much. RED should be hyped up don't get me wrong, but some of the content was a bit lackluster, even I can admit that (especially Hekaton and Kritias) I respect spadow enough to respect his opinion =P
As for the gap between the rich and poor (or rather in this case the nx buyers and the non-nx buyers) I don't mind if nx users can get an advantage (as they should as the game is free2play) as long as non-nx users can get the same things with a bit more work *turning the game into more of a pay2shortcut than pay2win*

The problem with spadows post is that a few of them are opinionated, partially sound like whining, and 1 of the points he makes is actually incorrect =P
That doesn't mean I don't agree with some of his points, but RED is nowhere near as bad as he's making it out to be (although I suppose thats opinionated)
The 3 points I disagree with the most are:
1.) the adventurer revamps being as bad as he says (this one is mostly opinionated =P) they served their purpose in the sense that all the adventurers were balanced out and made more powerful, even thieves and pirates as lackluster as their update was they still became much stronger than they were pre-RED
2.) his complaining about the new auction house is a little hard to agree on since it logically HAS to have limitations (5 searches and 10 listings per day seems pretty generous anyway) if it WASN'T limited, people wouldn't buy shops at all, not that it makes nexon greedy, not in the slightest: nx users should always have an advantage in the sense that their ways of getting things should be BETTER (but not to the extent of having nx exclusive things like potential was pre-RED)
3.) the last one is incorrect (sorta, not sure how incorrect you can actually be with this) when he says that collecting materials for cubes and such was a pain in the ass, take artisan cubes for example: the only moderately difficult thing to get, is blades of chaos, which drop at a 10% rate from herbs, much more common from golden flowers though
As for the other materials:
Blade of Chaos - see the above paragraph on how to get them * 5 required for 1 artisan cube*
Superior item crystals - really easy to get after the profession reorganization by disassembling 110+ equips *10 required for 1 artisan cube*
Occult cube fragments - every occult cube gives you 1 fragment (75% of the time) and 5 fragments (25% of the time) *5 required for 1 artisan cube*
Superior Abrasives - you can buy these for like 50k each *5 required for 1 artisan cube*

@ShadeCombo I guess, not that i had any reason to, it seemed to take offense to me do to the fact that the adventurer class has been struggling for a while and my assumption was that because it didn't effect your class you did not see it as good. Sorry to have offended.

Seriously though. Bashing me for my job? I don't even use this class anymore, it's just sitting there collecting dust ~_~ On the other hand, have you tried RED? Have you played the content that came with it? Honestly doubt so. That was just my opinion which I just put it in there. Sure I could have kept it for myself but that comment was never bashing anybody (except maybe Nexon, depending on how you see it). Next time you're gonna "insult" anybody, grow up and don't judge me for what in game class I play okay? Thanks.
