Continue or restart?

Hey guys,
I quit about a month after Mechanics came out. My mechanic is level 108.
I've come back and I am sooooo lost, Maple changed a lot.
I was wondering if because of all this new stuff, would it be better to restart as a new character, or continue my mechanic?
I have mechanic geared equipment, that's the only reason I see why I should stay.
Where should I train at my level if I decide to stay on this character? Soooo lost ._.
