Hey, so I stopped Maple for about a year. I'm trying to come back to it, but now I seem to have some issues. I installed the latest patches and when I click on play, it'll load on the new jumping mushroom and then close out with a "You have been disconnected from the login server." My first response was to uninstall and reinstall, which I did. That didn't fix the problem. I tried running the game launcher with different compatibilities, run the game from the website, downloaded Maple off Steam, tried to start it from there, and even downloaded some Maplestory.gadget program. None of these have worked. Any other solution? Note that i've played Maple Story perfectly fine before on the same computer. It's the recent patches I suppose. I'm up for another re-installation.

Restarting does not help; Dunno what else to do. Re-installed it like four times on Steam and through the website.:/
I'm having the same issue! I came back to playing and downloaded the newest patches and now Maple crashes & lags for me! Which did not happen prior to those patches! And I get disconnected and tooken back to the login screen & right when I start putting my info the whole thing crashes. And sometimes before Maple starts I get the error disconnection. .-. So it takes me about 2 tries to make Maple start >.>
...Nope. I'll restart it after I finish re-installing MS.
Did you restart your computer?
Might be an issue with this version of the game. Wait until the next patch is released (Nov. 15th I think?), then download it and try again.
If it doesn't work then, can't help you
