Maple Site Problem
Before I start, this problem occurs at the EUROPE version of maplestory. But maybe you guys know.
So I go to the main site, works fine. I can watch the patch files without any problem. But after checking like 2-3 message, when I click the next one my brower just keeps loading and loading (white screen). After some time a message pops up ''Oops! google chrome can't find link ...". At the same time, my maple game, which is still running, also disconnects. When I try to reload the main site (not the message), same problem occurs as at the message. I also can't launch my game anymore (says maple is busy with server check). After like 5 minutes, the site works again and I can log in.
Changing browser does not solve the problem. I got a new computer since 3 days (problems started around then), but both my iPod and laptop (running ubuntu 12.04) also won't load the site if it's down on my desktop. They both never had any problems before.
When the site is down, and I ping the site I get this:
5 transmitted, 0 received, 100% lost, time 4030ms.
When the site is up for me, it says ''received 37ms'' (like normal).
Friends don't have any problems, only me.
Any other site works perfectly, it's only maple.
Anyone got a solution to this problem? It's really annoying.

Just found out if I log onto the VPN of my uni, I have no problems at all. So something is really messed up at my internet xD

If you can get to other sites while Maplestory is down, then it really does sound like a problem with the Maplestory domain, or something about the way your connection gets to the Maplestory sites through the Internet. Unfortunately that kind of thing would be out of your control.
All lights stay green. Only the game and maple site won't start. I can access basilmarket while maple (and the maple site) is still down without any problem.

Do you mean that when the Maplestory site doesn't respond and the Maplestory game disconnects you can IMMEDIATELY at the same time connect to other sites (like Basilmarket for example), WHILE Maplestory is still down..?
If that's true, then it would be a problem with the Maplestory site.
But the fact that friends don't have this problem makes that seem very unlikely.
If you CAN'T connect to any other sites AT THE TIME Maplestory goes away, it's more likely that it's your broadband modem disconnecting for some reason and taking a few minutes to reboot and reconnect to your ISP.
The next time Maplestory goes away, quickly look at the lights on the front of your broadband MODEM (not the router, if you have a separate modem and router), and see if any of the lights that are normally on are dark, or if any of the normally green LEDs have turned red. This would indicate the modem has lost the connection to your ISP and is trying to reconnect.
