Why did everything get so darn expensive?

Before a 17% SW eye/tatoo were like 2b...now there being sold for 10b+?
same goes for gollux %....did something happen? This inflation is out of the world...
inflation would require an expansion of the money supply not a shift in transactions to the botters... the real cause is a blend of private meso exploits, thousands of bots running 24/7 picking up mesos and npcing loots and a decline of players. nexon can easily address the meso exploit and botter issue yet nothing is done.
i see what you mean. since there is more mesos in the world, the value of 10m would be equal to the value of 50m now.
except this affects 1 specific party the most
the people who quit and recently came back, the value of 1b is only a fraction of what it was worth back then, i don't think changing the max mesos helped, rather it just put down the value of mesos even more
that would cause reverse inflation. as far as i know elite bosses dont drop significant mesos

large number of items flooding the market -> prices on items drop -> meso gets your more stuff.

ex) 100 clean slate scrolls on market vs 1 clean slate scroll on market.
That is Supply and Demand but with mesos increasingly at an infinite pace, steady rate, and with items increasing at a slower rate, it leads to steady inflation, but Supply and Demand still works.

I remember being laughed at months ago when I bought a 24% main stat sw glasses with 10 att bonus pot for ~5bil at the time especially because they were only unique. If sw stuff didn't have tradelocks I would have definitely turned over quite the profit </3

Got that right. Inflation has always been absurd and it's worse than ever. We just need more meso drains to increase its value. It would make a huge difference for people who want to become rich.
