They're both relatively similar damage-wise, but TB's need more attention. Buccs can just fire and forget, which makes them easier to handle on mobile bosses.
Personally, I hated TB's play-style. Felt too weird.
The downfall of a TB is Arc Charger's cooldown, because it can be dispelled in the middle of a boss run and you'd be screwed without that 45% dmg boost. MP use is an issue too. Other than that, TBs are baller.
I have both a lvl 200 TB and Bucc, All around TB's do a bit more but defensivly and bossing Bucc's are way better in my opinion. During Dojo one issuse i always had with my TB was MP regenerating. Both seem preety even but i think buccs are kooler skill wise and better bossing
Thunder breakers do more damage (look at post red dps chart), have unique combos instead of generic laser spamming, are more colorful and have a variety of skills, can boost range by 35%, very mobile, more lines of dmg, 100% stance when combing, etc.

TB does more damage, but It's a MP eater class, and your HP is not very high... so bossing sucks

i dont kno about u but thunder breakers were way too fancy shmancy for me.

They do have hyper skills.
