Pro: Multi-hit attacks, fairly strong (I think...)
Con: Still a mage (potentially fragile, really only relevant with dispel), More boring than an F/P (however, that is an opinion)
Really making one's the only way you can find out if you like them enough
Edit: I think the general consensus is that you should make one lol
Pros; ranged attacks, good survivability, can do more damage on element-weak enemies, frost attacks slow enemies.
Cons; mana intensive, may have to exclude some enemies for training due to element resistances.
It's not hard to make one from scratch, get it to 50 or so, and then decide how good the are for yourself. I'd say they're a pretty good class overall.
