No those are all rumors, but rumors is all we have to work off of. Here's the two rumors going around (both unconfirmed)
-Delayed because it was extremely intense. No tv station wanted to air it until it was censored but studio DEEN is refusing to censor so now they're trying to find another place to air it. (Most likely true)
-The entire show is a 5 min short (99% BS). I mean why the hell would they have such a hard time finding someone to air a 5 MINUTE short? If it was 5 minutes they would've just tossed it on a website by now. But what makes this really bad is that the whole "5 min short" info was most likely a troll and now everyone believes it and is ditching.
Just read the manga.
Word of caution though. I was as hyped up for this anime as you guys, but after reading it, I realized the plot was pure crap.
Pretty sure where it said '5 minutes', said it was per episode. Still, really short. I'm probably not watching it anyways though.

It's going to be about cannibalism, child abuse, and a crap ton of gore, the makers are wanting it to be all like that but nowhere wants to air it like that...

Studio Deen wants to keep it all bloody, but all the channels they requested to air wants it to be censored.
No one wants to air it.
