Updates

To the people having HackShield errors

Do any of you use AVG as well? Because I've noticed that AVG and HackShield are both having the same problems (all nexon games are having the same issues for me). Neither AVG nor HackShield will update and for some reason I'm unable to even access their websites to check for more information (which makes reinstalling a problem).

I'm running multiple versions of Windows in my household yet none of my computers are able to access/update AVG or HackShield, and I've even done one of those "reset your computer to an earlier time" things. So I'm thinking that rules out any chance a Windows update that could be blocking the programs.

Also, do any of you use Sprint as your internet service provider? If it's something affecting all of my different types of computers and not affecting everyone out there, I'm tempted to think that it could be my ISP that's decided to block them for some reason.

So if you guys have any information that relates to this or could help me narrow down the problems let me know, thanks

I'll run it and copy what the error is

@qwan456: Alright here's the error I'm getting:

"HackShield Update Error: 0x30000090(805306512)

Update timeout occurred in HackShield update program"

Not really related to this but I've updated HackShield directly from the folder and it told me there were no updates available

Um, what's the exact Hackshield error you have? There are many errors that you could possibly could get, and you don't want to have countless of post that's like "I got an error and I don't have AVG".

I've allowed AVG and HackShield to run as long as they want and they both remain stuck. I'll go downstairs and do something and I'll come back up and it'll say HackShield has timed out Error. It's been doing this since I woke up yesterday afternoon, and since then I've tried every 20-30 mins to get back on Maple or their websites. And I just realized this morning that AVG is giving me the same issues, and since I can rule out any Windows-related settings because it's happening to all of my computers I think it may be my ISP. Or perhaps a combination of Nexon updating and my ISP
