You know, not all hackers are the same....Half of hackers think it's wrong to hack in pvp, because for one reason, grinding on mobs for hours isn't fun, but pvp is. Some hackers go against pvp hacks.

Power Guard is reflecting their attacks back at them and since warriors have such high base HP the hacker generally dies at about the same time despite only taking 30% damage. Most of the hackers seem to have some weird hack going on where they flash back and forth between dead and alive so you get credit for killing them a bunch of times and your points skyrocket.

there was a time where hackers were pretty much gone.. but that was a long time ago... ahha

Whoah, no need for calling names there. She wasn't being stuck up or anything, she's simply stating facts.

I think you mean that not all hackers are not nice, which is right. I've seen some that are kind. But they are all just as bad for destroying the game for everyone else. And it's not like you can tell them that "If you don't like hackers in PvP, you can just not PvP." It's not YOUR problem, yes, but legit players actually have the right to complain since the game is not designed to be played by hackers.

I think it is worse now. Before when I come to a map with a hacker, he or she would CC or move to other map to avoid being reported. But now, it just feels like they couldn't care less if they get reported. It's just ridiculous that we actually have to compete with hackers to play the game.

If your hacking to become a high level "pro", it's pointless. Sad really, you can't play legitly.

If your hacking to make real life money, that's a different story.

But noobs feel the need to get no delay hacks to beat everyone because they don't have the skill.

I am seriously getting tired of PvP hackers. Before they could cheat in private and no one had to deal with it. But now, someone is cheating so they can kill me and I don't have a fair chance against them? I have a serious problem with that.

Being likeable does not make someone a good person. Some of the most charming people are total 'you know what' bags.

I don't even consider this bad. Instead of letting the hackers get to you, just exploit them.

I'm sorry, but most hackers are extremely selfish, greedy and lazy. There are tons of hackers who hack to get easy and fast levels; so I don't see how you can think otherwise. They can ruin the game for legit players and some players quit out of frustration.

Even if I could hack and get away with it, I would never do it. My parents raised me better than that, I know what is right and what is wrong.
And I'm pretty sure cheating and engaging in illegal activities is wrong.

From what i remember a few years ago, JMS had "the" most hackers of all Maple story games, with so many hackers JMS basically stopped caring about it and just had everyone hacking at all times, which ended in them getting some ridiculous exclusives, Like the fly ability, the 200 Mount early, the Monster Book, basic things to give to the non hackers.

Every friggin person i no in EMS hacks - most are coders from GMS anyways who exploit there when an exploit in GMS gets patched

1) I can find the occasional PvP match without hackers but yes it is annoying how most matches are dominated by them.
2) You can learn to ignore them if you try. Just report them and move on. There is nothing else you can do short of quitting. You can always quit the game if you want. If it isn't fun for you anymore. I still enjoy the game despite the hackers but they do annoy me. I wish they would at least go back to just botting to 200 and let me PvP in peace.
3) I tend to either ignore the hacker in PvP, report them, leave the room if there are only 4 people in so the game cancels, or hunt them down so they get slightly less points and I get to work off some stress by pounding on the virtual representation of the hacker at least...

Pvp was so fun when it first came out but now i cant stand it.

Yep, it's impossible to get a PvP match without a SINGLE hacker.

The security is dying and hackers are strengthening. At this rate, 90% of everyone will hack in the future.

I see just as many hacking characters as legit characters. The security of this game is a joke.
