How to be good?
Hi Basilmarket!
I've been playing Maplestory for a while, but I have no idea how to get the most of my day on this game. I restarted in Reboot, and I was wondering how I should go about increasing my damage from the group up. I am maining an Aran (152 right now), and I am creating link mules.
I finished the Commerci and Gollux quests, and I was wondering how I would go about getting gear to be able to get endgame gear (Cra, SW, etc.) I understand I should do Gollux once a day and Commerci until fatigue, but I'm not sure what to do after that.

Technically speaking, the Pensalir set itself doesn't have anything close to the base stats of the Frozen set, but the Pensalir set allows for more stars (15 maximum as opposed to the 7-8 for the Frozen set for each piece), which allows for more stat gains the higher the amount of stars you have. So I would aim for Pensalir and then transfer hammer.
For Gollux, you can try up to 6 times a day rather than once a day (have the 3 keys that you acquired and saved from the previous day, then get another 3 more the same day). Most people go for the two shoulders and the abdomen in order to acquire coins, then they restart again. On the final try they go for the head. Don't kill the head yet until the final time.
You can also try soloing easy Magnus (the Magnus Simulator) for its accessories like the cape and the shoulder, though those drops are not as common as normal/hard Magnus.
Also do the Ghost Ship Exorcist Badge quest if you haven't (in Singapore - talk to the guy in Boat Quay), then put a potential and Spell Trace that badge. But be very careful not to blow it up - or else you're out of the best badge you can get. Do the Silent Crusade quests if you want a title which also gives a decent stat boost. The Beasts of Fury quest line also gives a good stat boost with the medal, although the jump quests are an absolute pain.
@wall: Thanks! Do you also know which set would replace my frozen set? I think it's pretty strong right now with +30% pdr, +42 atk, +9% dmg set effect.
