Marksman Tips?

So I'm enjoying my new Paladin but i'm thinking of making a MM mostly because their not a very popular class, they do good damage with low funding, and their bows are cheap.

Any tips from any experienced MM players?
I'm not an experienced MM player but I did played him for a while until I decided it is not one of my preferable playstyle.
1) The snipe's range is short. Way too short for a skill to be called snipe. It's really awkward.
2) Probably the only archer that need MPE potions, +1 attack speed and such to attack faster with their snipe.
3) The snipe has 1 line only, and can only do so much damage (400m) with such attack speed. It's not the ideal end game bosser if you wish to tackle Dorothy.
4) IIRC MM has the most unstable critical damage due to the huge gain of maximum critical damage. So it's kind of unstable for those who cannot cap.
5) Hookshot is your friend, a very fun friend. So use it if you can. It also provides i-frame during the time frame you travel with it.
6) One of the tankier archer, as long as you're attacking though.
7) Training it from 2nd job to 3rd job is a pain in the neck since all its attacking skills are kinda slow and only have 1 line of attack, so I suggest to play BM first then switch it to MM at level 101.
Here's my pragmatic insight
1. snipe's range hits more than half way across the map now
2. prob. also the only archer that benefits the most from +1 IA
3. if you're not dropping your annual income to fund a char, chances are you won't even be hitting 400m anyways so don't worry about end game bosses that 1% of the population faces
4. pretty true. your max cap is around 140% while your min cap is around 30-45%. But again, if you're not defaulting on your bank payments to fund, then don't worry about capping reliably.
5. hookshot + pierce macro to clear mobs quickly. That's quite accurate
6. 60% damage reduction when attacking? My hero is squishier than my MM
7. probably
@tonywashere: Which update is that?
Is there a video or image to demonstrate the increased range?
I'm sorry if I'm not that updated.
"Snipe: Damage Max Value increased from 400 Mil to 500 Mil and Range increased. Delay Reduced from 960 to 840."

I found post-update Snipe range to be quite good. In dojo, I can finally just stand in portal and snipe without moving when it spawns on the far left.
The rest of the points, I rather agree. The "easily" achievable cap didn't give me much motivation to upgrade.
