Switching from Hero to DrK
Hello everyone, I just recently came back to maple and am hearing that Dark Knights are really strong right now. I was wondering if I should make the switch from Hero to Dark Knight, my range right now is 150k full buffed. Do about 2.5m on bosses with enrange on. Can anyone tell me how much damage I would be doing as a Dark Knight? Dont want to change classes waste a bunch on mastery books without some research first.

This is disagreeable. I think that Heroes are far better 1v1 bossers than DrKs. Joe tangs dps chart I heard is highly unaccurate and out of date
You'll have a slightly better range and will do better damage on mobs.
However, you might do less on bosses, because you'll lose hero's 20% boss dmg from hyper skill, as well as any other % boss dmg that you might have on your weapons, e.g. RA weapon, secondary weapon/shield .
Dark Knights have a higher range, but oddly enough a worse damage output.
Probably around the same on bosses, more on mobs, and youll have a higher visual range. The class is also more forgiving bc of self revive.
