Canada Post parcel service question
I'm asking any Canadian basilers with experiences with Canada Post, I can't seem to find any information, but my package was suppose to be delivered today. The idiot mailman didn't bother to ring my door bell and was too lazy to leave an attempted delivery notice. So my questions are: Would I be able to pick up the package if I know which post office it was sent to? If I can, would I need to bring a form of ID (and not the notice since I didn't receive it >.< )? If I can't, what am I suppose to do? Please help me out

call Canada Post with your notice handy and ask if you can come pick it up yourself. They'll ask for the tracking number and they should be able to tell you if your parcel is in the warehouse or on a truck
you have a mailbox right
is your mailbox shared by other people in your neighbourhood like this?
then check your mailbox. there should be a key that tells you to open the big mailbox as displayed in the photo. maybe your parcel is there.
IIRC, they usually do 3 attempts. But if you have a tracking number then just call them and tell them the guy didn't leave a notice. And yes, you need ID to pick it up at the post office.
It's possible that they got the wrong address, or instead of mailing it to your door they just went straght to the place where it waits for xx days before getting sent back. Your best bet is to either phone or go to the post office or w/e place and see if your package came in. Bring I.D.
@RitoPls Yeah, I read that but the notice wasn't in my box either
@timmybitty I'm sure since I check it like every minute, then suddenly it just said notice left on front door and it wasn't there when I went to check
Are you sure that there was a delivery attempt? It may have come late.
