@Liam: Ah, I'm also going Au Ra I main a bard, but drk looks like it could be a lot of fun. I've not really tried any tanking class, so it'll be an experience for me.

I play scholar as well, but mostly for CT/ST/WoD for the commendations lmao, I would never play sch for coil or end game raiding.

Coil can be a lot of fun if you're with a good group that is capable of grasping the mechanics fairly quickly. If you're not comfortable going as your pld you could always go as dps- although literally in T7 tanks have the easiest job and bards+healers have the hardest. It really just depends on the instance. I was wanting to clear T13 before the expansion but I don't see that happening. I've gotten to 50% in T12 and have just been way too busy lately to try and find a good group to go with.

I understand with the drama. My last FC didn't do anything and I'm fairly certain the leader was buying gil. When I asked why we (as a fc) don't do anything end game related I was replied with "I cleared T9 months ago." and (regarding farming primals) "I bought ponies awhile ago and you guys didn't want to come." Well >_> duh, I'd want a pony, not the money you pay me for one but k.

Ultimately up to you if you wanna change worlds, just let me know if you do decide to come to Faerie

@Icephoenix21: Uhm I use to be a career dps, but now i'm a career pld but i still enjoy being nin(not so much pressure being dps) but I've been anticipating to become an au ra/drk knight since announcement
The highest raid stuff would be the World of Dank Memes/T4. I'm not really wanting to do coils since there's so much precise movement
Anyway I've been wanting to move because drama in my fc and I'd rather not get dragged into it but i'm at a crossroad since I did promise one of my fc mate I would be a drk knight for his crew when hw comes out.

I'll be around for 2 weeks after HW is released but from July 1st-23rd I'm obligated to go to the US to visit family and friends (currently living in Canada lol), so I'll be MIA for that time. Although two linkshells I'm in are extremely helpful and would be happy to assist with the new content, even if I'm not around.

@Liam: Guess it depends on what you want to do. It sounds like Kazz up there is more into crafting (which I'm leveling slowly but not really focused on), whereas I'm more into farming raids, dungeons, primals, and other instances. It might do you well to search around the subreddit and find players' opinions of both worlds. I personally use a pc to play, but there's a good mix of both on Faerie.

@Liam Well another thing to consider is what people play on. FFXIV works on PS3, PS4 and PC. With Playstation you can chat with your buddies you have on there as well as others you come across in-game (Which apparently is a lot around 40% from personal experience). With PC you have skype and whatnot that you can chat with other PC users better. I got PS4 so... yea.

My experience lies with the Gathering/Crafting rather than combat. FYI the crafting in that game is 10/10 good and is by far the best crafting system I've ever seen in a video game. A lot of people, including me, get sucked into Crafting, Gathering, and Marketing and make most of their in game career off of that. The Marketing in the game is really good too imo, if you're smart enough you can learn how to completely build or crash a market on specific items. Its a pretty simple and clever system... that is if you wind up getting into this side of the game.

A lot of people get polarized on their preferred area of the game: Marketing/Crafting or Combat/Bossing because both are really fun but take lots of time to invest in perfecting and reaching end-game (because Crafting and Marketing really does have an end-game style too!)

I'm in Faerie as is Zelkova and Thatwasmykil and some other players from Tria.tv

I'm experienced in pretty much all current content, including coil with the exception of T13 So it'll be nice to get a group of people together to experience HW/Alexander/etc.

Faerie has a good amount of people but I've never gotten the 'this world is full' message upon login attempt.
