You're only limiting them to 'destroying planets' when they can be capable of way more. Ok so let's say that hulk does survive in the sun, does he have a way to get back to the fight? No, Broly could still teleport at faster speeds than hulk if he did somehow got launched towards the sun. Adding on, wouldn't hulk end up dying eventually if he stays in the sun? He can't survive the sun forever and even if he jumped from it, it would take decades, if not centuries to get back to earth anyways.

Super Saiyans have a ridiculous level of strength and speed so I think it's a bit hard to compare them to another universe. I mean Hulk is super strong and fast too, but it's hard to really put a comparison like that together. No telling what sort of effect a Ki Blast would have on hulk or anything else Broly can dish out. I'd like to say Broly would win because he can fly and shoot lasers, but I don't know.
If it is green scar hulk then no, green scar hulk can absorb all types of energy and use it for himself. My mythology teacher wrote a paper years ago about who would win in a fight, The Hulk, or Goku, and the Hulk would win.

The Hulk is capable of jumping 1000s of miles and is capable of running at 500 mph and it increases as he accelerates. His speed was great enough to outrun quicksilver, Broly isn't even near quicksilver's speed. Broly isn't strong enough to launch the Hulk all the way to the sun, it wouldn't do any good anyways, the Hulk is capable of surviving in the sun. Also, the Hulk is able to move around and monouver himself in space so it wouldn't do any good. His resistance is so powerful he can survive a supernova what makes you think Broly's fireballs would do anything? And give out?
