Is this abuse?
So a friend is an extremely fussy eater just like myself - However they are much younger than me (14) and ofc do not have a job etc to buy their own food.
Anyhow my friend HASN'T eaten for 3 days because his father REFUSES to buy him food until the chicken and hash browns in the freezer have been eaten...
My friend hates hash browns and doesn't like chicken so he is literally starving is it his parents fault for not buying him food he likes? or his fault for being so picky when he hasn't got a choice?
Yes, he isn't a real life friend ofc lol, just someone I have known for a very long time online - I only know him due to his elder brother who is the same age as me.
@Zoneflare4 But sir! you threaten me with wheels of cheese! Maybe his parents are like you
Send him a cheese log.
His parents are stupid for not buying food he likes. Everybody has different tastes in foods, and who the hell
wouldn't give their kid food for THREE FREAKIN' DAYS?
If he was 6 or something, I would blame the parents, but once you are a teenager, and act like that, it's unacceptable. If I was the parent, I would make him sell all his useless stuff (gadgets, games, etc), and make him buy his own food.
(It's probably the parent's fault though for him turning into such a spoiled brat?)

Well not everyone likes the same things so the parents should just make him something different.
@danwoman: I offered to send him a pizza, but I cannot access the American Dominos Pizza here in Britain it just redirects me back to the British version but you're right, I guess he will eat when he gets to the point where he wants to eat a whole elephant hahaha.
@RandomUsername Yes... I even said to him I wish I could eat the chicken for him Chicken is one of my favourite foods haha
My parents would never let me go that far
Tell him to donate me all the chicken he got.
ima fry them tho
Ya, I thought it was his fault also... I've gone without food for possibly one day because I didn't like something my parents cooked up lol... but no way would I starve for 3 days like him, I would get out the bottle of tomato or bbq sauce and smother it haha... I'm still very worried for him though as he isn't eating >.<
Give him time, he'll eat whether he wants to or not.

You can't always have your way, this is a lesson that will help him if he is to become independent later in life.
Answering your question, yes, it is his fault.
If he's not allergic to those things then it's his fault
If there's food in the house, he shouldn't be starving. it's his fault.
