Double Battle Pokemon Team
Edit: online means in a simulator such as shoddy but w/e the new one is called. I dont need to train anything. I have until tonight and I just need ideas to work off of especially for 4th gen cus I dont think I can use drizzle polietoed
So my friend an I were battling online yesterday and to be quite honest I realized I've forgotten most of the mechanics of the game. I mean I forgot I got locked into 1 move with choice scarf...
Anyways we are going again tonight and so I need two parties ready for two double battles.
1. 4th gen and earlier OU and lower
2. 5th gen and earlier OU and lower
If you guys could make what you would call decent teams and list strategies and moves that would be great. I need something to work off of and I dont really remember which moves will hurt my teammates :<

@Pencilgod: By setting their happiness level to 255 of course.
do you play on showdown?
OT: one strategy i've seen is to use whimsicott to use beat up on your own terrakion so then terrakion will have 4x attack. i don't use this though.
If you want, you can use one of my two teams that I used to use when I played doubles.
I didn't bother playing pokemon on the DS solely because hacked pokemon were circulating online. It's ridiculous. Also, is it me or are the pokemon getting uglier than ever.
That's why there's hacks. Seriously, Pokemon needs to up their anti-hack system.
They never can. Hackers will ALWAYS make their way around, ALWAYS.
@DJSkittlesXD: hopefully in the 6th gen things will change
your not gonna get a decent team in a span of a few hours sadly
I REFUSE to share my sexy, strategic teams
@tonytony40: i thought she meant legit battling with a ds over wifi with a team she train herself vs her friends pokemon
@tonytony40: she edited her post after i made mine
No, for pokemon in general, they can be generated. The fact that she's playing on her computer doesn't make a difference.
And like I said, for the DS you can send pokemon to the GTS, and claim it on the DS.
Nobody (Almost nobody) actually trains their pokemon.
unless she wants a crappy rhyperior and gyarados she'll need to iv/ev train which takes time then do the same for the other four pokemon
I'm not sure if you're misinformed, but for online battling, people can generate pokemon onto the GTS by using their computers.
Groudon + venosaur
Rattata lv 1 with endeavour and quick attack, holding a focus sash
Yesterday I did a random battle with a rattata with toxic orb+facad... took out 3 pokemon before I died
Rattata lv 1 with endeavour and quick attack, holding a focus sash
*6 rattatas and all lvl 100
Jolteon with dat earth resist berry
Moves: Volt Switch, shadow ball, ice hidden power, anything else possibly thunderbolt
EV: SP.ATT & SPD
used to scout and fight off people
The following is considered hell to fight since you can just avoid every attack
Garchomp with sand veil ability
Moves: Sandstorm, double team, dragon claw, maybe swords dance
EV: ATT & SPD
Alakazam (but kinda overused)
Moves: Psychic, shadowball, focus blast, the thunder attack dat raises sp.att stat
EV: ATT & SPD
Arcanine (can become physical sweeper or SP.ATT fighter like so)
Moves: Solarbeam, sunnyday, flamethrower, that fire move that recovers health on sunny weather
EV: SP.ATT SPD
Rampardos
Moves: Forgot lol but you can figure it out it was a simple one
EV: ATT & SPD
Idk lol still working on the rest this is my team. Strong powerful kinda balanced. Built so each pokemon can try and fend off all of their Super EFF and not very eff types.

I have until tonight and its online on some simulator similar to shoddy so that means I don't need to worry about training.
@pr3stig3: thank you for the suggestion, I'll look into it
Flying type + High attack Pokemon with Earthquake
Pokemon with set-up moves (rain dance, hail, sunny day) + Pokemon that fit that type
Pokemon with abilities that work well together.
Team I found from Goggling:
"Rhyperior with lightningrod
moves: Earthquake, Stone Edge, Thunder Fang, Megahorn
together with a Gyarados
moves: Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Ice Fang, Stone Edge
Rhyperior will cover Gyarados' biggest weakness, type coverage for all other weaknesses and both are very strong"
