NBA Finals game 3

Ok I watched game 1 and 2 and even though the series tied I think Miami is the better team. That period in game 2 where they took over it was highlight after highlight. There was a period were Jeff van Gundy said wade was the second best person on the team and it wasn't fair. So I say heat in 5 next three game goes their way

No doubt. I'd love to see them with a ring. Will that happen though? I doubt it.

Last night game was sick the comeback was good and dirks last shot was pretty epic. Wade was going to work though if he keeps on doing that going to be a problem for dallas.
Not like the QUITNESS has a ring either and he had to leave his home town just to TRY to get a ring
Get over it. I don't approve of the way he left, but he was doing what was best for himself. He was a FREE AGENT, what he did was fair game. MJ had Pippen, Shaq had Kobe, Kobe and Gasol, so on and so forth... Need i remind you that Kobe was just begging to be traded out of LA in 2006 when his team sucked without Shaq?

Bosh can't but James can and get off James there are countless of players who had to leave there hometown to get a ring anyway he gave u guys 7 yes and all they did was reach failure.

Miami Heat all the way...
Dallas has no chance of beating them in the playoffs.
But I still can't believe Boston Celtics got owned by Miami Heat.
At everyone saying anything to me for calling Durant a flopper, come off of it... Everyone flops, he just happens to be on one of the very good up and coming teams, especially because I think the Lakers are on their way down, shortly, and in the same division as my favorite team, so I'm quite biased, hahaha.
Still, the Thunder are scary, that's for sure. I really think they're going to be the next powerhouse of the West, because the Spurs are getting downright ancient as well.
@pr3stig3 It's no secret that he wants to be there but yeah, we'll have to see. I'm interested to see what happens to Bareas this offseason, too. Wonder if he'll be the PG of the future for the Mavs after Kidd's contract is up next season. There's been speculation about him going... well, everywhere.
I'm really conflicted. I'm a huge fan of Kidd, but my favorite player is also Dwyane Wade. After my own team got knocked out of the playoffs (Celtics), I've been rooting for the Heat, even though I couldn't care less about LeBron. Now that it's Mavs vs Heat, I don't know who to root for. On one hand, you have Kidd and Dirk, both of whom deserve a ring for their tenure with the NBA. On the other hand, you have Dwade, my favorite player ever after MJ.

Sigh, decisions..decisions...

@YourPirateGuy: I never said he wasn't a good PG. In fact, I think he's one of the most promising PGs in the game today. However, that being said, he still tries to force too many of his shots. Unlike Rose, who really has no one else to pass to, Westbrook has one of the best SFs in the game to pass to, yet he doesn't take advantage of that.
The only person I like on the Mavs is Kidd. I wish he would have gotten a ring, I do. I don't like Dirk, but I DO respect him. Future HOF, one of the best players in the game today... Yeah... Still, I'd much rather see the Heat win it. Besides, I'd be worried about the Knicks next season if I was everyone. People flocked to Miami for very low pay because of Lebron, Wade and Bosh. Just think of how it will be in New York, ESPECIALLY when they get a good PG (CP3?).

@iLax I know man, I know... Robinson's such a beast. I hate Westbrook in OKC, too. He's such... d-bag. I actually used to really like OKC until I saw how they started acting this post season. Durant's a flopper, Westbrook's a "b"... Harden is almost as bad as Durant... Blah...
This is why nobody on Basil can talk basketball. Panicka is the only other person who can actually talk basketball.
Average Basiler: I hate -insert player-. He is a -insert comment that has nothing to do with basketball-.

There are too many successful players in the league that came in at the point guard position, but are true shooting guards. Tony Parker and Chauncey Billups weren't point guards when they came into the league. Somewhere along the lines, OKC had to take a loss. OKC is a building team, many people thought they could have won this season, but there was no chance in hell they would have won. Nobody realizes this, but Westbrook has to score for OKC to win games. I lol'd at your comment on Durant being a so-called flopper. Playing the game smart is as good as playing the game like the all-time greats. The rip through move he does is legal. Harden was a candidate for 6th man of the year, and when he starts next year, OKC will be a much better team. Westbrook will no longer have to take 20 shots, he'll be around 12-15.
Durant's a great player. This is the first time I've ever seen his name in the same sentence with "flopper". Westbrook is too inexperienced and takes too many forced shots. His basketball IQ is pathetically low for someone as talented as him. However, once he fixes his problems, the Thunder will be a force to be reckoned with (if they aren't already).
Russell Westbrook is a top 3-4 point guard, and that's great for a player who played shooting guard @ UCLA.

LOL NY? They're playing in the East against top defensive teams such as the Heat, Celtics and Bulls. Stoudamire and Carmelo don't know the first thing about defense. CP3 may be a great floor general, but it's way too early to predict that he'll sign with the Knicks. Of course, if that does happen, it'll definitely make the East so much more
watchable. Heat and Knicks rivalry? Yes please.
