Would you be angry if your friend is suddenly a higher level
If you suggested something like um a party quest,
And your friend is a higher lvl than you because of what you suggested
Would you be angry?
I am the friend and the boy that told me where to go
Is now super angry cuz im a higher lvl than him

Nope, it just means their jealous. Or, they envy you a lot.
If they're higher leveled, good for them. I level at the pace of a snail by 120 and beyond, anyways.
I'm usually the friend as well.
If they are higher leveled than me I will feel happy for them because I am their friend and friends should feel happy for their friends when they do well in something
