A bunch of bored 4th job friends (some were at 0%, some very quickly became 0%) decided to go DRPQ just for the lulz of it, and there were lots of shiny buffs thrown about.
But this was the first time I ever had Thorns (we had a 16x DB. o_o) and it was AWESOME.
Thunder Spear + Thorns + MW20 (from friend) + critical ring = 47k-ish max critical damage.
Usual avg non-critical damage on neutral monsters: ...like 17k.
with all the buffs, I was also hitting over 100k critical on the ice-weak birds in the early DRPQ maps with weaksauce lv10 blizzard.

Trust me, flying is absolutely nothing like swimming at all. Once you get the skill, you'll know what I mean.
