veteran malpler needs some help
Hello guys,
I've been mapling since around v35 and have tried almost every class, I've always been a classhopping type until I fell in love with the fire poison Mage class, I didn't train it much higher then most of my class hop characters, but I've spent way more time and money on it. Unfortunately I was hacked and my account was permanently banned.
I now want to end my class hopping days forever.
Unfortunately I don't feel any passion for any class, I am sure I still want to play this game though.
I have alot of money to spend on this game.
I don't really care for damage, but I don't want to fund a class very well and then have other ubfunded players outdamage me at bosses ( I want to explore the bossing part of maple ). Now, with that being said, I ask YOU basilmarket, to help out a semi-desperate veteran mapler. What class dp YOU think is fun playing and why?
Opinions and advices are very welcome
Thanks in advance, you guys are of great help to me!

Dual blades are pretty nice. They are really mobile and they have some flashy skills that r great (i.e flying assulter). They have a high dpm and I find it very nice to train because you fly everywhere. When you know how to use it, they are pretty strong in pvp. They might call u a BW tho...
If you don't care of damage, NL are pretty nice. They are rly good in pvp. They don't have a lot of skills but they are rly mobile like dbs and shads.
Both class : rly expensive!
Play your F/P again once Jump! patch arrives. D:
Thanks for all the replies and advices! Will read and answer all of them so make sure you check back soon!
Dual Blades, if used correctly, are unlike any other job.
Source: Also tried almost every job (except f/p, xbow, and mechs) since July 2005.
When I first started out in v. 32, my first class was a dit. It might be a bit expensive for thief equips.

Mech is my highest char at 140, almost 141. They are very strong (hence the haters) and really fun and here is why (i think). They get so many skills that you can strategize a lot with, i.e. the portals and rock n shock. figure out where to put them to your best ability. They are also amazing bossers. Maxed missle tank is 100% dmg x 6 continuously, and then siege <3 . Give it a try!
Go shadower C: we now have Flash Jump and Shadow Partner, which makes us more mobile and stronger now; and we have cool skills like meso explosion, boomerang step, band of thieves (pwns in pvp), etc.
I strongly reccomend it
Well... i would suggest an I/L... that's my fav class, ... they have pretty nice skills, for both mob and bossing... And at 4th Job Chain Lightning is the best for me, ... i was also a class hopper... until i realized i won't let my i/l mage for any other... I suggest u try an i/l until lvl 70+, ;D... gl and hf, ...
I was going to say battlemage is a super fun class.
I guess in terms of damage, Mechs seem to still have a lot to them.

Thanks for the reply, yeah well I don't really like questing so are the Aran quests still necessary? Evan would be a good option but I'm kinda sick of mages for now, shad does sound nice though! Thanks for your optimism!
Aran was great fun for me, also I like to follow storylines so for the video scenes etc plus Aran is awesome for bossing, great damage and easy to handle, or you can make an Evan if you like mages more considering Evan a nice choice too because its the only class that has the exact number of SP to fill all skills on every job advance.
That would be my recomendation as for my main... was a long road I pretty much like being a Shad because of the high Avoid and how fast I can move ^^
Still I guess ANY class would be fun with fundings and good friends... escept for Beginner lol
