Scoot, lucky and ankha were in my other Animal crossing game before I gave it to my sister because she got addicted to it
I just bought New leaf a week ago and those 4 (you forgot Walt tho) are my absolute favorites

i played animal crossing on gamecube and never encountered anything like trading villagers...
only point to time travel was to update nook's shop, buy/sell turnips, and catch seasonal fish and insects
