Does this ever happen to you?
Maybe once or twice a day for an hour long period, I'll go into an "unsocial phase" and just not talk, and I find everything extremely awkward. Like yeah, I'll talk, but I'll just have this dead stare and just stay really silent when everyone else around me is talking. Just wondering, cause i've noticed it for the past month now. It's usually around the weirdest times, like during this school football game, or during lunch. Kinda weird. I'm just curious if it's normal...

Does it happen during certain times? like every day around the same time?
A lot of people have like a dead period around a specific time during day (e.g. right after lunch or noon/early afternoon) where they just feel tired and demotivated. Especially happens when you're somewhat resting (as in not being physically or mentally active) so your brain somewhat shuts down.
It's not an issue unless you feel like it is. Don't worry about it until you notice significant negative consequences from it
It happens to me often haha. I'm a pretty introverted guy so sometimes over extended social situations I will "simmer down" if you will and need to take a break. If that happens, I excuse myself for the bathroom, go outside to smoke a cig or what have you.
I'm an introvert and I like being by myself so I do it often.
Sometimes I can go through a whole weekend without talking to my housemates.
sounds like youre having a cooling off period where youre trying to collect yourself before going back to what you were doing
Happens all the time but not for hours.
you're fine, but am I ok? I sometimes sit on the t.v and watch the couch
its called day dreaming?
It's normal, you're just spacing out thinking about other things.
I'm like that with texts. When i don't want to talk i just don't respond to texts. Then the person gets angry cause i don't respond, even after it says "Read at ....."
I believe you just described the deadly symptoms of
Zoning out.
