Cant play maplestory
Has anyone else encountered this? I tried playing ms so I launched it through the website, which would work usually, but it tells me that i can't connect to the server because of a maintenance or because of my firewall, which is not on. So then I try to reinstall ms and close to the end of the downloader it says that I can't connect to the things server. Help please?

Thanks everyone for the feedback, right now i'm trying to redownload ms
There is a thread on the official Nexon forums that tells you to just re-download the hackshield and when it's done just place it in your Nexon Folder and just let your new hackshield replace your old one (every single file). After doing all that, just restart your computer. I had the same thing happen and this worked for me.
I can log on, i just get major lag out of nowhere
As I said earlier I'm still encountering the firewall problem ( No browser works, tried restarting router). The strangest part is that sometimes I can get on, but I had the same issue as you have when I was trying to download the game before, and all I did was install the game on a older version and let it update.
ALSO your internet might be working on offline or something like that~ it happened to a friend yesterday o.o
You get Error Code: 11004 too, right? It's because your internet's too slow so it wouldn't load the game. Just restart your router and try again, using Game Launcher.
Its possible your firewall maybe blocking something that allows mapletory to play, something is wrong with the game, your internet is having problems or something along those lines.

I have the same "firewall issue", though I can play at times. It's getting really annoying. </3
