How to play online games in dorms
Hey guys, this fall i'm gonna move into college dorms and I've noticed that the wifi there sucks, and will be crappier when the fall semester starts and everyone uses it.
I play league of legends and with crappy internet, league of legends in unplayable. Is it possible if I can set up my own internet connection in the dorms?

Good idea, you could rent a small apt and just live there with a friend or two, not saying you should go to the ghetto but look for something close and suitable for living, who knows... could be cheaper than a dorm, but there you can set up your own wifi and manage it yourself, just put in the factors of getting to school and stuff like that.
OT: playing league of legends with fail connection frustrates me, best you could do is just go somewhere else to play on the weekends or something, maybe at a friends house? some cafes have good connection, just dont go there and pop up league of legends, buy a sandwich or something

@LokcCap: If you have an iPhone (maybe some other smart phones can do this too) you can tether the iPhone internet to your computer.
Otherwise you'll need to purchase a mobile data plan and buy a internet stick.

If your dorm has ethernet jacks, use them.
