Nvm she was Asian, just was very chubby with short yellow dyed hair... also Lee.
My last name is Ly, family says it like "Lee."
@eternalmemory: I looked up Kim-Jeong-Eun's-wife and yea, his last name is Ri and not "ì´" in Korean. But that's pretty rare. 99% of the time, people with the last name Lee is ì´.
I think all Korean names are chinese-originated because they are all traditionally in hanja. The rare exception is when parents give their kids English Christian names from the bible.
Whaaaaaat she's white?!?
@eternalmemory: I'm just guessing, and i have never seen a person with 2 letters in their last name.
@duzz: the resurrection of christ was god's second to last miracle
but she was the last
Ly is a Vietnamese last name. Vietnamese will spell this name as "Lý". It pronounces as Lee with higher tone
wait for that person (not assuming any gender, race, religion or being) to say their name
@antisenpai or maybe throw rice that will attract them then ask
@eternalmemory: i just wanna know how you are a real person
@duzz: Are you calling me a coward?
@eternalmemory: Humans are afraid of things they don't understand. So you are the most terrifying thing to me on this planet.
When did this site get so racist, the moderators should be ashamed of themselves!
@eternalmemory: actually, the Korean last name "Lee" is pronounced as "Yee" in Korea. It's just the English romanization.
I have never met anyone with /ri/ as their last name. I believe that's North Korea exclusive.
The name ly did not come from china it's maybe japan, Vietnam, or Malaysia
ask her pssy
@stoker: Hey man, I didn't say that was how they got the name! Lol
Ching Chong
-Throws Asian race card on the floor and walks away-
idk but you can always ask her (respectfully!) what the correct pronunciation is. Or apologize if you're butchering it. Personally, I'm so used to people getting my last name wrong now that it's weird when I hear it spoken the right way.
Also this may just be me but it's a bit awkward when someone tries to get the accent right/speak Chinese to me, esp. if it's obvious that they're just doing it to "impress" me or other ppl and they've never taken Chinese in their life. I know this isn't what you're going for...so just try not to give off that vibe!
