Forced Pic Change

So I sent an email to nexon yesterday and got a reply today regarding a few ingame bugs I've had one with an item that says untradeable and trade disabled when equipped at the same time after being scissored anywho my question is do GM's log into account to verify? Why I ask is cause after I got the email and in the 7+ years I've played this has never happened to me but it forced me to change my PIC on the character select screen and when I logged in I got the message that said I was trade blocked for 15 mins because someone logged in from a dif IP. This worries me and raises red flags as to hackers but yet nothing is missing and I have a lot of valuable things that are tradeable on my char and in stash tons of no booms and scarlet rings for example and I know a hacker would've cleaned me out so for safety's sake I just went ahead and changed every Password for everything and the PIC. So I was just wondering do GMs log on player accounts to verify item bugs even though I sent screenshots and all. I would think they could log in of course without knowing password or PIC with some administrative mode but it would've been nice for them to give me a heads up at least. :

A GM won't ask you for a password or your PIC.
If they need that, an admin will give it to them.

From the evidence cited above, it looks like it's not unheard of to happen, but regardless, you don't need to give them any info. If they need it, they'll be given access to it by higher ups.

Ah ok thanks guys I guessed it was cause I had 3 major bugs on my char 1 with buddy list, 1 with link skills, and 1 with a scissored item being stuck. They prob just verified it.

They logged onto my account to verify a bug, and they did it twice. However, they couldn't identify the issue either times until I sent in a second screenshot. The bug was an "unused SP" notification. I was surprised they actually addressed it in the patch: http://maplestory.nexon.net/news/updates/update-notes/00IMr/v-160-black-heaven-first-chapter-update-notes#unusedsp

And yes, I received the "different IP address" notification both times after logging back onto my account.

Actually, I do recall that once when I was issued a refund on some items by Nexon, I was asked to change my PIC as well.

That actually has happened to me before after I sent them an email about not receiving my rewards for the black heaven event.
When I logged in, I had to change my pic and it gave me the IP message as well, plus I had the rewards. I assume they do.

Did you log on a different character by any chance? Sometimes that triggers that message for me, idk why.

I've never seen or heard of a GM logging onto a player's account to verify something.
