Finishing dojo

I've got this problem with my marksman where I just can't finish dojo D: . Like I think i've got enough range to do it (i mean im 200? ), but its just that I feel like i'm not using my puppet well enough. Any tips you guys can give me to help me be able to finish dojo?

Btw, should I get my elite puppet to lv 13, will it help? o-o
