Question about pickpocket

So yeah, im about to make a Dit/CB/Shad and I got the perm pet and perm mesos magnet. Will my pet affect my training because it is looting the mesos that I get from pickpocket because I can potentionally use Mesos Explosion with the mesos. Or does my pet not loot the mesos from pickpocket?
