Hakus Fan
Do you get the fafnir 30% boss dmg bonus from the weapon or any of the pot? I've heard many different things from different people, but never a solid answer :x
Does anyone have a Kanna and has tested this out before? I don't wanna cube my fan just to test out something

@LordPsych None of the non-potentials stats count for anything (except m.att for hakus blessing), so no. For potential stats, the only worthwhile ones are %m.att and %int. Any others are probably not as good, or don't apply when equipped by haku.

I'm sorry, all this is a little tough to follow. Does this mean that I will get boss damage % from the potential lines on haku's fan?

In addition, the description for haku perfected is vague and misleading. It doesn't give "50% m.att of the equipped fan's m.att" or "only half the matk and half the matk%". It gives a %m.att buff with the magnitude equal to 50% of the m.att of haku's fan, which is significantly different than any of those other descriptions.
Haku's fan only gives stats unbuffed if it is in your potential lines, which is pretty insignificant compared to the amount of dmg u get from matk% lines while buffed

Haku's fan gives stats when you are unbuffed. Only ones you don't get are the m.att of the fan itself excluding potentials, and other weapon potentials excluding %m.att. Haku perfected gives you a %m.att buff equal to half of the m.att of haku's fan excluding potentials.

actually imo a great secondary just because of the huge m.att boost haku reborn gives you.

damm...it really sucks that kannas have such a nerfed secondary :'( i guess its really nice that you can scroll the fan at least
haku's fan does not do anything unbuffed. When you're buffed with haku reborn at 4th job you have haku perfected (3 buffs, 1 of which gives 50% matk of the equipped fan's matk for 40s)

Nope you don't get the 30% boss dmg from Haku's fan(only half the matk and half the matk%), but the amount of matk u get from a decently scrolled and cubed second fan will increase your dmg by a lot.
If you do make a second fan i suggest spell tracing or prime scrolling a dragontail fan or fafnir fan and transposing on to a sw fan and cubing for %matk, get a 3/4% matk neb and 15 star it.
Pretty sure you don't get the innate bonus stats or set effects from any fan for Haku. I believe the best potential Haku can get on his fan atm is %magic attack.
