Life Lessons slash Life Stories Thread.

Post a life lesson you've learned or your life's story in this thread. I certainly found this to be applicable because of all the Chat Islanders who have been posting their life's problems and some life stories. As well as Chat Islanders not having enough experience in certain aspects of their life, so others could... Err... "Help" them out with their own experiences.

I honestly can't think of any off the top of my head, so I'll just post a relationship lesson.

Once upon a time, young Zubin liked a girl. He eventually asked her to be his girlfriend and they dated for several months. However, young Zubin's girlfriend used to flirt with one of his bestfriends. Young Zubin became jealous and kept getting upset with his girlfriend for it. They eventually broke up because of this and never talked to each other to this day. As well as, young Zubin and that bestfriend were not on terms for about two months.

The moral of this story: Always trust your significant other and bestfriend(s).

Once upon a time, I woke up and stabbed myself to death.

Did you have insurance? If so, did they cover it?
Mummy said Daddy had cancer. Lily was too young to understand what cancer was. Lily didn't bother bonding with her Daddy. Daddy made it through after a few months of surgery. Lily grew up. Lily became stubborn. Daddy was content with Lily, not minding of they didn't bond. Lily became more and more distant with her Daddy. Lily starts to mature, and wants to know her Daddy better but it is too late. Daddy thinks Lily will never talk to him again, still not caring. Doctor says Daddy may have cancer again, but somewhere else. Lily, gradually becoming more knowledgeable about cancer now, understands the seriousness. Lily, too afraid to interact with her Daddy, decides to leave him alone, yet still praying for him often, and making '11:11' wishes for him, even though he will never know.

Lily and Lily's family are waiting for legitimate results now. Lily feels sympathetic towards Daddy because her brother, and sometimes her mother, are ignorant to him. Lily sees that he is only truly happy when he is with Lily's two year old sister, Ann. Lily cries many times because she envies Ann's and Daddy's relationship.

Lily is oblivious about what the right choices are.

MORAL: Never leave precious relationships to drift.
Wait, I don't understand. Why do your brother and mother ignore him?
