The Link and Core Expansions are permanent, everything else is a 1 time use.

yes, its perm
The only one that gives a perm addition is the ones for link 6-9, I got a core for link 6 and 9 and did the quests to open them. I did not visit 9 yet but link 6 is a crappy jump quest which is very easy and gives 1 coin.
And yes cygnus is one time use.
Oh okay, thank you! I was hoping once you buy one it stays there forever hahaha so you can use it any time
