Randomly crashing and locking up
I've been having a ton of trouble running maple recently, it occasionally will start lagging and taking up 100% of my cpu usage, up until I close it. I've tried limiting how much processing power it's allowed to use, and running it in other compatibility modes. I'm 100% sure this is not a hardware issue as I can run anything else totally fine, but I'll post relevant computer specs below anyway. Anyone had this happen to them, or know about something similar?
Specs:
cpu: intel i7-2600k @ 3.4ghz
gpu: evga gtx 670 4gb @ stock clock speede
16gb 1600mhz ram
1b 7200rpm internal drive

Is this a laptop?
Try to see if your battery power is on low. Change that setting to balanced/high performance if that's the case.
Otherwise I don't know
