i'm thinking of returning to tokyo to become an english teacher
(either as a private teacher or work for a school)
and work on becoming a translator.

Dad's company wanted to hire me a few months ago, I had to wait til I turned 18 (which was last week), and now their sales are down so they can't hire.
I've been jobless for almost a month.
I think I'm gonna have to go back to my old grocery store, but I'll try to get a better paying position.

quit my old job, was jobless for 3 months, decided to apply to a store and got a call the next day so I've been working for 3 weeks now and i hate it lol. Luckily I'm a temp for the summer so I need to start looking now for something that will pay better and I can keep up w/ once school starts again because I really really hate retail

I applied to AMC and am hoping to get a call back because I really want to work there. If I don't get a call in a week I'll start applying for other ones again

Just graduated college. I'm trying to start up my own company and start selling video games. My original plan was to release my first title as a hype demo on July 1 (and I'd probably post it here to Basilmarket too) but after talking to my dad, he wants me to develop it as a full game and sell it to a larger company. So I don't know where I'll go from here.

Anyway, yeah, no job. "Self employed."

Because my mom tormented me from 7th to 12th grade and now she pays for everything to make up for it.

Its hard to work with 36 hours of classes a week.

I actually just got a job at LA Fitness
I didn't have one for a while cuz I loved how much time I had but then I ran out of money

Because I'm stuck in a rough spot. I can't get a job in my field because I have a few years of school left and places like fast food restaurants don't particularly like me because I'm a full time student. I have a part time job which works perfectly with my schedule though so I'm happy for that except I don't get too much money.

I start in September, though I'd love to start earlier. Most of my friends are already working and making bank, so I feel like a bum.

Can't find anything in this crappy town.

Ot: I do have a job but I didn't have a job because i had zero experience.

I get paid an allowance of $135 a month so that's why I don't work lol (I'm 18 and have had Lyme Disease for the past 3 years of my life so I haven't ever had a real job)...but I am getting a job later this summer cause my cousin's office is hiring 3 college students part-time for 4 weeks and it pays $17 an hour so I pretty much HAD to take it. <3

better to work & hate it
than to be jobless & nub. jk

But I'd rather be working and saving, regardless of the job, than to be at home doing nothing.
