How to improve dojo time?

Right when dojo came out, i managed to get a 4:09 dojo run. I also could have potentially gotten 4:06 or 4:07 but i got stunned near the end.

However for some reason when i try to do it now, i'm getting around 4:15-4:20.

What am I doing wrong and how can I improve my time?

well then the next thing to consider is honing your style, utilizing summons for auto kill (itll always kill faster than u can manually) and other such thing. Find out your fastest skill...even if its like second job and find a way to max its dmg even higher to speed things up further.
Try timing your runs with rebooting and just starting up Maple. Go full screen. Lower settings.

Figure out if there are difference between the best approach to a boss depending on where it spawn in relation to your character.

Stuff like that.

And hi. You're my favourite poster from Scania right now.

Sorry I don't really have a truly direct response towards helping you with your question....but when you're trying to trim off seconds and your time is already that low...in my experience the only things left to consider are style, approach, any last desperate alterations to skills you use in favour of speed, etc.

I have two computers that otherwise run Maplestory entirely well, load the internet with no noteworthy change in speed, etc...but one computer ALWAYS nets a dojo speed around 4 seconds faster than the other. So anything can make a difference and u wont find out unless u try it urself.
I wrote a quick mess of a ton of factors the other day for someone else with a similar question...just a mish mash of a bunch of info to consider that, in the end, couldn't help but improve your time to some extent.

Here it is:

Factors to consider and double check when trying to maximize your speed and efficiency...because there are tons and most of its is very easily forgotten since it literally applies to nothing else in the game...even with regards to bossing. Dojo is unique and weird and has its own super complex intricacies..much of it is actually entirely random and out of your hands and just those factors which you can't do a thing about can be enough to make or break and entire run. Consider all this crap, tho...adv boss rush or adv great hero boost...red mpe, ginger bread, witchs stew, legendary hero potion (only works if you use the boss rush pot instead of the adv hero potion), crit pots, guild potion, guild skills, ht/pb buffs (the ones automatically cast on u when u kill ht or pb..its like 40atk and often forgotten), green speed, all combined with soul weapon summon + familiar (like empress or skull reaper) Collect and use decent skill gear, echo...and also remembering to cast soul summon at the beginning and at the end...you can get past the first (i forget how many now...been a while since I dojo'd since I made my tyrant gluffs)...uh...it's quite a few bosses that your summon will instant kill in one hit...so that taking your time to attack manually is a waste and adds crucial seconds to your time...on and on.
I'm familiar with being a dex based half melee/ half ranged pirate. I'm sure you have plenty of other intricacies that all add up to effect your time.

It's really tedious but once you figure it all out, work out a timing that works for you...u just need to memorize it all and go thru dojo by rote memory. Always reboot before heading in and people have told me, and I have no reason to disagree, that setting your graphics settings in game as low as possible and going full screen...all contributes to a faster run.

Remember that PDR means nothing in dojo so don't use your leafre set -- henesys ruins is best. If you're focused on typical bosses more than CVellum, etc...don't waste too many lines on PDR, instead aim first for 250% boss range (not as indicated in the window...instead take the window stat and add all forms of %total dmg that you have to it for a final number around 250ish%. Then aim for %atk...thats all obvious and common knowledge but most people overlook the fact that trying to balance %boss dmg and %atk is not only cheaper and easier to get when ur cubing (if only because you're aiming for 2 potential lines instead of just 1 rare stat)....but, its surprisingly common for people to mass cube for %atk when %boss would actually give them a significantly better boost to their range, esp when bosses are concerned.

Sorry for all the clutter of various stats and potions...but it rly comes down to your personal situation, which potions you can make and find in bulk, and working it out as smoothly as you can.

Lemme know any questions you have beyond that n if I can help I'll try =)

Theres a bowmaster in broni that got like 3:47 without platter o.o o.o

OT:
-Try using a swiftness rune right before you go in
-If you can't get a magnif soul yet, just use reg emp or murgoth. be warned, murgoth has a long cd
-I'm not a mm, but do some research to see if any skills can 1 hit some bosses that snipe two hits by looking at the Dojo boss hp list
-Also, go through that list and see if you can use epic adventurer to reduce the amount of attacks you need on a boss by 1. I doubt since snipe is only 1 hit, and does such high damage on that one hit, but its worth a "shot"
-Maybe youre just slower because you had better connection last time. While you may not appear to be lagging, you'll notice that for many stages, itll take 2-3 seconds for the circle to appear indicating that the boss is spawning. Other times, itll appear right away. This is due to your connection to nexon.
Epic adventurer reduces the amount of hits on stage 29 from 3 to 2 and stage 33 from 4 to 3. I guess it might just be a connection thing, don't think I'm doing anything wrong that would cost me 10-20 seconds.
thats pretty impressive for a marksman. im getting like 4:00 and im a bowmaster with broken blaster. have you tried green mpe + si + inner ability +1 atk speed?

Have you tried a magnificent empress/magnus soul with arrow illusion placed every round?

also the best time to dojo is right after a sc for the least amount of lag or early in the morning like 5am pst.
I have all the attack speed except Inner ability. Ill get mag soul eventually, but I don't get why i'm like 10+ seconds slower than I was last week.
