even if you wanted to round
0.3333333...->0.3333
0.6666666...->0.6667
0.3333+0.6667=?
1/3=/=0.33333
In exact values, the above statement that I typed is correct. one third is not the same thing as zero point three three three three three.
So if you rounded 1/3 to a few decimal places, and then multiplied by 3 expecting to get 1, you will most certainly get 0.99999.
Does this even count as math? lol. It's so simple.
first of all, this topic is not even a true statement. if u do 1/3 times 3, it equals 1 (pretty sure everyone knows), 0.3333333333333 times 3 = 0.999999999999999 therefor 1/3 =/= 0.33333333333

Because we can't actually write a precise decimal of 1/3 or 2/3.
school is over so who gives a crap
Cause 2/3 = 0.666666666666667.
Uh, it does, and it doesn't.
I don't really know.
It actually does.
B/c I like to round =).
