There are hundreds of adjectives in the English language.

Why is it that the only one I ever see used these days is "epic"?

I understand there are times where that word is appropriate but it is used for absolutely everything now.

People of the world (or Basil), I know you're smarter than this. Get creative.

Lets examine the synonyms:
astronomic, colossal, considerable, enormous, epic, gigantic, ginormous, humongous*, jumbo, mammoth, massive, mega, monster*, monumental, prodigious, sizeable, tremendous, vast, very big, very large, whopping

Can you imaging people saying "Dude, that was very large" instead of "Dude, that was epic"

The truth is that there is no other word that has quite the same meaning as epic.

Funny thing is, epic is supposed to be a noun.
Oh well, this is the internet.
English is butchered everywhere.
Lol! This the internet, not some writing workshop class lol. I use the Internet as one way to break from school. In my opinion I think caring about other lil' kiddies posting their crap on the internet will just waste your time but that's imo.
Was it implied that I was only referring to the internet? Because I wasn't.
