Transfering money through europe

Ok I have a doubt here.
I have a swedish friend that can't buy nx anywhere so I had this idea. He could transfer me money, so I could buy a ultimate game card for him. The problem is I am from Portugal. We both are from europe, but his country doesn't have euro.
1. Is is possible for him to transfer money for my country?
2. How much would cost taxes?
Thanks in advance

Agreed with Vik .. this is the PayByCash page for Sweden, showing all the different payment options your friend could use:

Transfer fee will be determinated by the ammount and what company you use.
If he can't xfer euro to u, he can send u dollars perphas, just make the convertion and see how much he could send you
It is possible to send money trough the world w/o much problems, WesterUnion for example, can help you doing that and converting his money into euro/dollars and get it sent to u.
Also, he could try the QuickPay method, wich in some countries u can pay with ur local currency
