I bought 10 Black cubes and used them on a Rare item. It bwas still Rare when i was done. I got a lot off reactions when i posted this. People asked why i didnt bought an Epic scroll. So i did and it worked, my item was now Epic. After that i used only 2 blacks, 1 red and again 1 black to get the item Legendary. I guess i was just very lucky. I now just have to fine tuine the stats, (i want/need % STR and or ATT) Blacks are twice as expensive as Reds but they have one big advantage. They show you the after and before, giving you the option to cancel (you still loose the cube offcourse, lol) if the after is not better then before. Reds dont have this option.

This is all based on luck. From personal experience I've had better luck using black cubes during miracle time and so have other people I know. Legendary potential was definitely achieved using black cubes, but I can't say this is how things will turn out for you. Unfortunately, MS cubing is a complete gamble and it sucks when the odds are not in your favor. Good Luck and Happy Holidays!

I've gotten my cape to legendary in 2 red cubes but in the end its just all luck.

If black cubes did have >2x the tier up rate of red cubes, it would technically be worth it to get black cubes. But no one really knows, so the most you'll get are people's opinions and past experiences.

well black cubes are better for sure.

but if ur lucky with red cubes as me use 4 to get ring from epic to leg xD

Black is better for ranking up. Then I'd use red to mess around with the stats (Unless you have one you're not sure about losing)

Nexon said this somewhere before. From my past experience ( getting around 7 items to legendary) only 1 of them was from red cubes (before I found out blacks were better). One item even took 80+ Red cubes and was still unique, but when I switched to black, it only took 8

pretty sure it says on the cube, that black cubes have a higher rate. or it did when i got a free one from the event
