Instead of pressing the ban appeal section press the "other" section and ask to be transferred. It's not gonna give you any notice that you've been transferred or how long you have to wait but just keep the window open so when a GM in the ban appeal section does talk to you you won't miss it. Worked for me. Hope you get unbanned though.
