Best way would probably be asking someone to carry you on a Hard Hilla run so you can loot a blackheart box and hope to get a pet from it. Hard hilla drops a box almost every run, and the box has a high chance of giving you a pet. It might be hard finding someone to take you on a run, but chances are if you find someone, they'll let you loot it for free.

Tot's Know-How gives a 7 day Sheep something pet, easily.

I get one star planet pet every Shining Star cycle. Of course those are new ones, and I already got 3 perm pets going for me, but just to note you can keep getting more.

@missvp: You can easily get to Shining Star as long as you keep getting the 1.5k RP each day until you hit the limit for the month. From there, you can use the RP in the Rewards Shop to buy a 90 day pet which will last you about 3ish months and during that time frame, if you keep doing Star Planet until you hit the limit each day/month, you'll be able to purchase another pet for another 3 months. I usually play The Legends Return and that gets me to the daily limit pretty quickly if people are playing. Besides, op isn't willing to spend money so his only option is to spend time.

The pet expires after a week and can't be revived (in fact, the doll disappears when you click on it), so I'm not sure if you feel it's worth spending hours playing games in Star Planet.

@madman00: tbh it might be over but i thought today was the last day. if its not over you'll see a message every 20 minutes in your chat log to go mystic gate in a certain channel- they're in pantheon, leafre and henesys. you can teleport back and forth between leafre and pantheon pretty easily and get 2 kills in sometimes if you're fast enough. its a weekend event only. at this point you're probably unlikely to get the pet though. i would just play star 1 card and get the rp shop one.
