@sRacecaRs: Thanks, aha. I really wish sleep wasn't a crucial thing in our lives. I'd be much more fit because I'd be able to fit my schedule in with homework and school, and I'd be able to read books at a better rate. Coffee doesn't even do a thing to me; although it is a delicious drink. But maybe it'd make us more lazier because we wouldn't have more to do with our lives after it hits midnight. Unless we would balance it out with more hours of school. Hm... actually, as I think about it more, maybe we'd have an endless supply of energy considering we don't have the need to sleep.

Yes, you make sense. I did not think it this way, and I wasn't assuming an effect would occur at the time I posted the thread. Heck, who knows what would happen if we actually did remove a disease? We'd probably be able to do almost anything without getting any consequences. For example, if we didn't get lung cancer from smoking, people would continue to smoke knowing that no one will be harmed, and more people would do it because of that. ....I hope [i]I[/i] made sense.
EDIT: I suppose I never contributed to what I'd remove in my own thread, so I'd say this: The [b]need[/b] of sleep. We can accomplish much more without it, because the hours wasted can be used to learn more, research more, etc. but I'd still like the option of sleeping if we ever find the time/urge to.
