Don't go bird, its extremely weak and from experience, even after you get your final skill the bear mode still outdamages you by a large amount. Bear/cat is the most well rounded skill build: bear for damage and cat for buffs. If you are going bear, then leave deep breath at level 1, and for cat mode friend launcher is outclassed by fire kitty in every way.

Unless you're a masochist like me and are planning to go Bird/Cat.
depends on what your going for? If your gonna main it or leech to 210 bear and cat, for link mule up to 120 and maybe 210 if your not gonna leech bear and leopard, and for exp mule or skill mule cat and bear/leopard but use animal sp reset to give the points to hawk once you reach your specific level.
