this is probably way too late, but congrats on finishing highschool
as for the actual question -
if you looked back a few years from now, would you regret not going to the ceremony and having one last time w/ the rest of the people you knew in school?
granted, you could meet them later, but ceremony only happens once.

Even if it's easy, it's still 4 boring years to many.
Anyways, I wouldn't have cared if my parents and family didn't come to my graduation, which was actually just 2 days ago.
At my school, it's traditionally hot as hell. Everyone was fanning themselves the whole time.
I would never wish the heatbox on my enemies.

I shouldn't have gone to mine. Waste of time.

People express emotions differently. Whether they show it or not, just know that they're proud of you. Grats on graduating. Adulthood is going to be tough, and maintaining a healthy relationship with your parents really helps.

my brother's was last night and my mom came home saying how she felt so bad so many kids were getting awards and my brother got none. she felt bad for herself not for my brother which really pissed me off bc he didnt even care that he didnt get anything.
i say go because its worth seeing some of your friends for the last time

i guess you're all right i shouldn't really expect them to be excited about something so trivial i guess it's my own fault for getting my hopes up

You're just going to take $400? Without asking?

Stealing is a crime. Not going to a graduation isn't.

Maybe to you. Some people in the world would be fortunate enough to even go to high school.

Plus it's another step in the process of becoming an adult, you know, going to college, gaining independence, ya.

my parents never cared much all throughout high school, I mean, yeah they were working and all that... but... I skipped my graduation, didn't want to sit through it myself anyways.

Any parent who doesn't care about their kid, especially for something big like that should be in jail. Take the $400
