i really like drawings that aren't drawn digitally and get front paged to me, making a drawing look this good on paper seems harder then on digital really good work tho
For me drawing digitally is much harder than drawing traditionally. I can't feel the surface I'm drawing on (my computer screen, like I could ever afford a Cintiq o.o) and I can't actually see the tip of the pen. My Wacom Bamboo also doesn't work flawlessly with the software I use. Of course you'll get more retries when drawing digitally plus you'll have the benefit of layers, but it's with all due respect a frustrating PITA to me, also because I feel obliged to redo every single line that has a crinkle in it (meaning I redo every line at least 15 times because I have unsteady hands). With pen that's much less of a problem because what's done is done.
I'm switching to paper and pencil for line-art and my Wacom for colouring because my scanner scans everything in blue. </3 But I shall not use the magic wand.
Mmm yeah the thing with digital is that it tends to look a lot better on the comuter than traditional does. Most people don't have scanners and have to use cameras, and even then, scanners tend to not be too good. Ctrl+z is addicting but so is a more comfortable/sensitive control with a pencil/pen....
I guess im just terrible with markers then >_<
Yeah, neither medium is easier than the other, per se... certain people often have an easier time with one or the other, though. I love that you don't get lag spikes when working on paper, haha.

I really like the way your friend shaded the clothes.
The right hip (left?) looks like it's like poking out though unless it's the belt or something.
