Is maple down right now?
I downloaded another game and think I messed up my Maple files, so I deleted it and reinstalled it. Since then, I've been getting this error message every time I try to start the game:

I know my IP isn't banned, considering I was in-game just yesterday, and my internet connection is fine. I checked the website to see if it was down and didn't really get the impression that it was. Any help would be appreciated!

I used to get this same error a few times. I always use to wait it out, like try again after some time or turn off my internet for a while. Seemed to work. Good luck!
