Good inexpensive classes?
As the title says, I'm trying to figure out what are some good inexpensive classes to fund and level. I simply want something that is fun to level. I noticed how expensive it is to level anything that's a Thief so I've yet to bother with any of those. I'm not trying to find a new main, I just enjoy leveling classes that are fun to play. I just recently came back and don't really know what's changed with the classes because most of the Guides or class changes on most of the websites I find haven't been updated in nearly a year. (which includes a lot of the guides on here)
So, what would you suggest to someone who simply wanted to have fun while leveling? Only type of funding I can provide is buying HP/MP pots. I never bought or sold duped items nor do I buy my mesos so I'm not exactly a part of the "super funded" crowd.
Finally got around to trying DrK, got to the 2nd class and was severely disappointed. Every other class I leveled to 2nd or even 3rd class was doing 2-3x as much damage in a lot less time while surviving a lot better. Don't get me wrong, they have High HP and good Defensive but it seems to me that they're terrible without a lot of funding and that's just something I don't have.

Well I deleted my Aran so I have room to make another Mercedes (although I truly hated the name I had for my other), and I had made a Spearman but my god it was so slow to level the Warrior. His attacks compared to other classes were so weak in the lower levels and even in 2nd job it takes so long to kill 1 thing on the Mr. Lee island event thing that even with all those +12 att items from the daily events and a 5att wg, I wasn't doing anything compared to my other Explorers when I leveled them.

Why? Because honestly I never enjoyed playing it. It was only level 61 anyway, if I really wanted to I could get back to that in about a day. (that's if I don't get busy) Plus I disliked the name and the look it had, and I needed the room to make a new character. I have full character slots and honestly, with me, it's very difficult to decide what I do and what I do not want to delete or keep.

Hmm, would DrK be worth it then? Cause if it's really worth it then sure, but if it's getting a nerf, would it be a huge one that will decrease their damage so far down that they'll be doing "so-so" damage whilst leveling?[/quote]
It won't be that big compared to pally but there dmg will still be up there. Only a 20% decrease in dmg whereas compared to pally who lost most of their bossing ability. Drk is a good leveler after the nerf, and if you like survivability Drk might be for you because their drain is decent also to add their high HP (highest of warriors excluding DA)

Not to really push farther than I need to, but 3rd job is where you start to get your defensive/hp boost skills, although the class really is a bit dull until about mid-4th job.

Actually I just got my Marks to level 60 and made him a Sniper. That's where I got bored, I mean sure I love seeing myself hit 30k+, but I was leveling at White Fangs and immediately started getting pounded by those wolves left and right, luckily I had those NLC HP Pots to restore 1.5k HP.

Both DrK and Pally are getting nerfs but Pally's own is far worse
marksmen/wind archers are pretty tight with low funds right now
Er let me clear that up, I prefer a class I can actually make at the moment. Zero = no go since you can't make em. However I could check out DrK. I heard they have a nerf coming? Or is that Paladin? As for DA, ehhhh I have a DS and he's just...iffy. I mean he's level 125 but at the same time, it got kinda boring, I think it would be the same with DA, wouldn't it?
