heres the fix for the patcher problem ok for those experiencing a problem with the patch please erase all maplestory related file from your desktop and go to the maplestory folder and enable administrator access to gamelauncher.exe and maplestory.exe then run the gamelauncher from the maplestory folder and wait for the patch to update twice. this has worked for me and i hope it works for everyone :D EDIT: might not work for MAC users because nexon hasn't implemented compatibility for boot-camp users. and doesn't work for people with windows 64-bit. currently working for 32-bit systems.
dc temporary fix this will only work for a few people Okay, go into the Nexon folder, then click on the Maplestory folder. Click on the HShield folder and click on "HSUpdate.exe" (or just HSUpdate if you're running Vista/Windows 7). Let it run. After that, launch Maplestory (I used the game launcher but the site might work as well). Fixed it for me, I hope it helps you!
